In 2012, my wife Donna was diagnosed with incurable cancer; it was a devastating blow to our family. Thanks to dedicated doctors, the support of our local cancer community at Ann’s Place, and most of all Donna’s fierce will to live, we were blessed with 12 more wonderful years together, making the most of every day.

Through this journey, my family and I discovered hidden talents in woodworking and crafting. What began as a creative outlet grew into a way to give back. We donated pieces to Ann’s Place Art Walk fundraiser, where the warm reception inspired us to share our work more widely.

Every piece we create is handcrafted through a deeply personal process, honoring the life of Donna DeFreitas. Inspired by her brave cancer journey, our work celebrates the strength of all who face life with courage, faith, and hope. Donna’s favorite sayings, symbols, and spirit are lovingly woven into each design. This is more than home décor—it is remembrance, resilience, and love.
